Overstrand Municipality’s Tourism Department is currently conducting two business surveys to better understand the local tourism economy and how it impacts businesses across the Overstrand, and to inform the Tourism Strategy.
We invite both businesses operating in the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as those outside the sector, to take part.
The surveys look at how tourism affects the local economy, infrastructure, labour market and cost of doing business. The information will be used to support more informed planning and decision-making for the Tourism Strategy.
Your feedback is important to ensure that tourism in the Overstrand is managed in a way that benefits all sectors of the local economy.
Businesses have until 28 April 2026 to complete the surveys.

Overstrand Municipality relies on reputable businesses to deliver high quality services and products. We invite all qualifying local businesses that haven’t yet registered to join our supplier database and be considered for future opportunities.
To do business with government, suppliers must first register on the Central Supplier Database at https://secure.csd.gov.za/Account/Register. You’ll need:
• SA barcoded ID
• Tax-compliant status PIN (SARS)
• Bank account
• Professional registration (if applicable)
• B-BBEE certificate (if applicable)
After registering, complete the Overstrand supplier form at overstrand.gov.za and return it to our Supply Chain Unit.
