Overstrand dam levels are still at reasonably healthy levels for this time of the year but are mostly down compared to the same time in 2024.
Currently water restrictions are not considered in the Overstrand, but water demand trends and dam levels will be monitored closely during the summer months and may influence the situation.
Permanent bylaws limiting water use apply. Residents are reminded that watering of gardens is not allowed daily between 09:00 and 17:00 to prevent unnecessary water loss through evaporation.
Water is a scarce resource and must be used sparingly.
