Home Affairs Outreach goes cashless in Overstrand

Home Affairs Outreach goes cashless in Overstrand

Residents planning to make use of the Department of Home Affairs’ High Impact Outreach Programme in the Overstrand from 19 to 23 October 2026 are reminded that cash payments will not be accepted at any of the mobile service units.

All payments must be made by card using the Speed Point facilities available on site after a service has been rendered.

Community members are therefore encouraged to ensure they have a bank card available when visiting the outreach.

The mobile units will offer a range of Home Affairs services, including:

  • Smart ID card applications
  • Issuing of Temporary ID Certificates
