In an effort to address the ongoing smell of tap water in some households in Baardskeerdersbos, the Overstrand Municipality plans to flush the water network every Tuesday from 09:00 to 10:00 at various points across the area.

Residents are requested to open their outside taps for approximately 3 to 5 minutes after the flushing operation (from around 10:00 onwards). This is intended to help ensure that no unpleasant odours remain in the water network.

The flushing programme is planned to take place every Tuesday until further notice.
