Magazine access issue on Libby App
Overstrand Libraries have informed the Western Cape Library Services regarding the unavailability of magazines on the Libby App. The issue is currently being investigated, and an update will be provided as soon as the problem is resolved.
Books and other reads on the Libby App are still fully functional, and users can continue to enjoy borrowing eBooks and audiobooks as usual.
How to Download and Use the Libby App:
- Search for OverDrive’s Libby App or visit: com/apps/libby
Sign In:
- Use your library card number as your username.
- Use your date of birth in the format dd.mm.yyyy (with full stops) as your password.
- (Ensure the full card number is entered, some library cards have 13, 14, or 15 digits.)
- Once signed in, browse and borrow from a wide selection of eBooks and audiobooks.
Not yet a member?
Individuals who are not yet members must first register at their local library. After five working days, they will be able to access the Libby App and other e-resources.
