Last night’s First Thursday in Stanford was a great opportunity for the new committee members of the Stanford Ratepayer’s Association to introduced themselves to Mayor Rabie and her Mayoral Committee Members and the Municipal Directors.

Mayor Rabie also welcomed the newly appointed Director of Community Services, Seon Swartz, to his First Thursday meeting and said it was good to see that the younger generation popped in after netball practice to raise some issues with regards to restroom facilities and lighting – especially now that winter is fast approaching.

She thanked the community for attending the event to get a chance to have a one-on-one discussion on matters, such as accounts that are in arrears and how best to go forward.
