The revised Strategic Baboon Management Plan (SBMP), originally anticipated to be available for public review and comment during August 2026, will only be available by the end of January 2027.

More time is required to complete the independent specialist review, which forms part of the review process, before the draft plan is released for public review and comment.

Details of the public participation process, including dates and venues for public meetings, will be communicated once the documents are available.
