We encourage all eligible residents to make use of the IEC’s Voter Registration Weekend on 20 and 21 June 2026. Residents can register to vote for the first time, check their registration details, or update their residential address ahead of the Local Government Elections on 4 November 2026.
Voting stations throughout the Overstrand Municipal area will be open on both days. Voters are reminded that they must be registered in the voting district where they ordinarily reside.
Voting stations will be open at Benguela House, Stanford Community Hall, Funimfundo Creche, Masakhane Community Hall, Gansbaai Solid Waste, Hermanus Municipal Banquet Hall, Fernkloof Nature Reserve, Multipurpose Centre New Harbour Hermanus, Moffat Hall, Northcliff House, Municipal Farm, Qhayiya Secondary School, Yomelelani Pre School Care Centre, Lukhanyo Primary School, Zwelihle Community Hall, Sandbaai Hall, Hermanus Christian Academy, Hawston Secondary School, Proteadorp Community Hall, Kleinmond Town Hall, Crassula Community Hall, Siyabulela Pre-Primary School, Pringle Bay Community Hall, Pearly Beach Recreation Hall, Franskraal Bowling Club, Baardskeerdersbos Community Hall, Buffeljaghs Community Hall, St Paul’s Primary School, Zwelihle Primary School, De Wet Hall, NG Kerk Onrusrivier, Pretorius Hall Gansbaai, Gansbaai Golf Club, Blompark Community Hall, Fisherhaven Academy, Honingklip Farm and Kleinmond Laerskool.
