The Municipality is currently removing the dysfunctional pedestrian traffic light on the corner of Brug Street and Main Road near the Hermanus golf course.

The plan is to install a full three-way traffic signal within the next few months at an anticipated cost of R1.5 million.

Presently, stop signs in Brug Street and Die Gang will remain in place.

The public is urged to observe restraint and patience at this intersection until the works are completed. It is trusted that the planned works will alleviate the traffic challenges experienced at this location for a very long period.
