SURVEY ON PROPOSED ROAD UPGRADES IN KUSWEG, SANDBAAI
Overstrand Municipality will conduct a short survey from 14 – 17 October 2025.
The Ward 7 committee has initiated a project aimed at improving road safety, encouraging responsible road use, and making the area more accessible and attractive to visitors.
A key part of the proposal is to convert Kusweg into a one-way road from Main Road up to the Bamboo Beach turnoff. Additionally, parking bays and speed humps will be installed along Marine Drive in phases, depending on available funding.
Residents of Ward 7 (only) are invited to participate in this single-question survey to show support for the proposed upgrades.
The question is simple: ‘Is there support for the upgrade or not?’
For verification purposes, you will be asked to provide your ID number and erf number. This information will only be accessed by the Overstrand Municipality in accordance with POPIA regulations.
Only one vote per erf number is allowed. The results will reflect the community’s voice and cannot be manipulated.
