Residents urged to prepare for heavy rainfall

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a Yellow Level 4 warning for disruptive rain, wind and waves for parts of the Western Cape, with the Overberg among the affected areas.

A cut-off low-pressure system is expected to develop over the south-western Western Cape on Wednesday evening, bringing scattered to widespread rain to the southern and south-eastern parts of the province on Thursday, 3 September.

Please take the necessary precautions while weather conditions are still favourable.
