With the Local Government Elections scheduled for 4 November 2026, residents are encouraged to check that they are registered in the correct ward.
To assist residents affected by ward changes, as well as new residents to the area, a second voter registration weekend will take place on 1 and 2 August 2026. Residents who wish to register, update their address details or confirm their voting station are encouraged to visit their designated voting station during this period.

* Ward 1: Voters residing north of Guthrie Street must re-register at Benguela Accommodation in De Kelders.
* Ward 4: Voters residing north of the R43 up to Onrus River must re-register at Northcliff House. The IEC has visited retirement villages in the area and plans to continue these visits.
