There are many cleanup events happening across the Overstrand this Saturday (20 September 2025) for International Coastal Cleanup Day and we’ve decided to include them in the Overstrand Tourism weekly events calendar.

Please join a cleanup near you – whether its on the beach or in the street or even underwater with the Maties Underwater Club at Stony Point for their Dive Against Debris.

Plastic pollution is only getting worse. Clean beaches mean cleaner oceans – and healthier marine life.
