The 2025/2026 West Coast Rock Lobster (WCRL) recreational fishing effort is limited to 12 days between 20 December 2025 and 22 March 2026.
You may catch crayfish on the following days only:
December 2025: 20, 21, 27 & 28
January 2026: 3, 4, 24, 25 & 31
February 2026: 1
March 2026: 21 & 22
On all open days, fishing is allowed from 08:00 to 16:00, and your crayfish must be landed (out the water and onshore) by 4pm.
Permits:
A valid recreational West Coast rock lobster permit is required.

Limits:
- Maximum 4 crayfish per person per day
- Maximum 20 crayfish per boat/vehicle per day
- Minimum size: 80 mm carapace length (all undersized lobsters must be released)
