Overstrand Executive Mayor, Ald Archie Klaas, welcomed artists and role players this morning at the Overstrand Municipal Auditorium in Hermanus.

A jam-packed programme will run until 25 March, and it is not too late for members of the public to register and listen to insights from industry experts.

Key discussions will focus on sustainability, funding, governance and collaboration with various organisations, including the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, with additional input from bodies such as the South African Cultural Observatory and the National Youth Development Agency.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share experiences, provide input, and stay informed about developments within the community arts environment.

Each day will feature live performances, showcasing the talent within the sector and adding energy to the programme.

All stakeholders are encouraged to attend and be part of the conversation.
