Infrastructure & Planning

The main functions of this department include the longer term planning for water, waste water, and solid waste service infrastructure, water resource planning, water and waste water quality monitoring, including management of the Blue Drop and Green Drop systems, capital project and contracts management, water demand management, data recording and management pertaining to water services and solid waste, sourcing of grant funding for water and solid waste services, and liaison with government departments involved in water and solid waste services.

This department consists of a Deputy Director, a Manager for water Services Infrastructure & Quality, and a Manager for Solid Waste Planning.
